The Stone Place
The StonePlace offers custom cutting and drilling of concrete products. Don't want to spend $80 to rent a saw? Simply mark your stone to be cut and bring it to us and we will cut your stone for a small fee with the proper equipment. The StonePlace uses professional grade wet saws with diamond tip blades to give you the most precise and best quality cut available. Cost of Cutting We charge a $5 minimum fee to cut your stones. We cannot cut anything that is too large or awkward as it will not fit on table saw. Typically the largest thing we can cut is a 24" x 24" patio stone from side to side (not diagonally). If your stone is larger then that it is up to our discretion as to whether or not it can be done. Safety is our biggest concern with cutting. From a cost standpoint, if it is under 20" of cutting linear the $5 minimum charge applies. After that we charge $0.25 per linear inch. If you have a large volume of cuts that need to be done, we will work out a fair price with you before we start cutting. We ask that you mark your stones with a permanent marker before bringing the stones in to be cut (we are using a wet saw so any other type of marking will wash off when it is being cut). Depending on how busy we are at the time of cutting, we may ask you to leave the stones with us for a few hours so that we can cut them. If it is only a few stones and we are not busy when you arrive, we should be able to do them while you wait. Typical costs for different stones usually are in the following range: Interlocking Pavestone - $1.50/cut Retaining Wallstone - $2.00/cut 24" X 24" Patio Stones - $6.00/cut Other products will be priced at the discretion of StonePlace staff. The StonePlace also offers custom drilling of pavers and walls for In-Lite landscape lighting. Possibilities are endless! |
