Contractor Resources: Health and Safety Training

No matter what size your business is, keeping up with legislative safety requirements can be challenging and costly.  StonePlace has found some sources of free training guides and documents that are relevant to our industry.
The Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety provides free safety training guides for everything from chainsaws to ladders to lawn mowers.   These are great documents to use as an outline when preparing your training documents along with a log of employee signatures once training has been completed.
Health and Safety Ontario is the newly amalgamated association that focuses on prevention instead of enforcement.   Their website has a lot of useful safety information.
